William Britain model 17213 BATTLE OF CONCORD from the American Revolutionary Set. These are scarce and highly collectible. The "Shot heard around the world" was fired just a few hours before in Lexington, MA. This was the first armed action between the Colonists and the British in the American War of Independence. Samuel Adams and John Hancock narrowly escaped arrest in Lexington. The British column marched through Lexington on the way to Concord to seize arms, supplies, and cannon from the Colonist. Also of note, Paul Revere was detained and released on his way to warn the town of Concord. This item marks the events in the opening hours of the American Revolutionary War. Included is the bridge, 3 British soldiers,and 2 Minutemen. This item is in mint condition with the original box. Date of production: 2000. (only one available)

RETIRED ITEM: William Britain model 17015 from the American Civil War collection comes complete with all figures shown and original box in mint condition. This is a scarce and highly collectible item. The Springfield rifled musket model 1861 was the most common Union Army shoulder weapon during the Civil War. BRITISH 3rd INFANTRY (RETIRED)

RETIRED ITEM: William Britain model 17251 from the World War II collection. The British 3rd Division was first formed in 1809. It earned its nickname, "The IRON DIVISION", during the tough fighting in WWI. It was part of the British Expeditionary Force evacuated from Dunkirk in 1940. However, they would return to the continent as the first British Division to land on Sword Beach on June 6, 1944. This item comes complete with the figures shown. RETIRED ITEM: King and Country's FJ02 "The Attackers" from the Fallschirmjager (German paratrooper) set. The Fallschirmjager were unique in that they were part of the German airforces or Luftwaffe. In other countries, paratroopers were part of the army. They had their first combat jump in the invasion of Crete in May 1941. Later in the war, they were used a mechanized infantry, rather than paratroopers. Rare and extremely hard to find item. (only one available) PRICE $450.00

READY, AIM, FIRE IWJ05 (RETIRED)

RETIRED ITEM: King and Country item IWJ05 "Ready, aim, fire!" from The Sands of Iwo Jima" collection is currently available. During February and March of 1945 Operation Detachment, better known as the Battle for Iwo Jima was underway. The small island held a key airstrip need to protect the US bombers attacking the Japanese mainland. 22 Marines and 5 Sailors received the Congressional Medal of Honor from the action on Iwo Jima. The famous photo of the Marines planting the US flag atop Mt. Suribachi occurred in the first week of fighting.
